About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced
Community Manager to build, grow, and manage thriving online communities across platforms such as
Reddit, Quora, Discord, and industry-specific sites like
Trustpilot, Google My Business (GMB), and Course Report. The ideal candidate will be a creative communicator and relationship-builder who can engage authentically with tech and GenAI audiences, spark conversations, and strengthen our community presence across touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage our presence across Reddit, Quora, Discord, and other community platforms to foster engagement and thought leadership.
- Participate in relevant threads, answer questions, share insights, and build authority in GenAI, IT training, and professional learning spaces.
- Create and moderate topic-specific Discord servers or groups to build loyal learner communities.
- Engage with reviewers and learners on platforms like Trustpilot, GMB, and Course Report - thanking advocates and addressing concerns.
- Develop a content calendar for community-specific posts, AMA sessions, polls, and other interactive formats.
- Monitor and track discussions, trends, and sentiment within key communities to inform marketing and content strategies.
- Work closely with marketing, social, and customer success teams to ensure consistent voice, timely updates, and alignment with learner needs.
- Identify and collaborate with community influencers, super-users, or brand advocates to amplify reach.
- Use tools like Reddit analytics, Quora Insights, and Discord engagement metrics to generate monthly reports and track performance.
Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in community management, social media moderation, or audience engagement roles.
- Proven experience in managing discussions on Reddit and Quora - with a solid understanding of platform dynamics, etiquette, and growth tactics.
- Familiarity with Discord server management, moderation tools, and community engagement techniques.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to tailor tone across platforms.
- Bonus: Experience with reputation sites like Trustpilot, GMB, Course Report, or working in ed-tech or GenAI-related communities.
- Analytical mindset with basic experience in tracking KPIs and deriving actionable insights.
