Job Title: Commis II / Commis III

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis II / Commis III to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in both Asian and Continental cuisines, with a passion for food, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
- Ensure proper mise en place is maintained at all times
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
- Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and Sous Chef efficiently
- Assist in stock rotation (FIFO) and inventory management
- Ensure all food items are prepared and presented to quality standards
- Help in minimizing food wastage and controlling costs
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen (hotel/restaurant)
- Basic knowledge of Asian and Continental cuisine is mandatory
- Culinary certification or diploma preferred
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Good understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
