Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Collections Manager based in Kolkata. The role entails overseeing and managing the process of loan collections while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Responsibilities include developing effective collection strategies, monitoring collection metrics, managing a team to achieve targets, and maintaining borrower relationships to ensure positive resolutions. The candidate will also be required to analyze data to enhance overall collection efficiency and performance.
Qualifications
- Experience in credit risk management, collections, and recovery strategies
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and using collection software
- Leadership and team management experience
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle escalations
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus
