Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collection Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable and will be responsible for managing outstanding accounts and ensuring timely payments from clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and follow up on outstanding collections from clients.
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to resolve payment issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and client communications.
- Work closely with the accounting department to reconcile accounts and ensure accurate billing.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts.
- Prepare reports on collection status and present findings to management.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of collection laws and regulations in India.
- Ability to negotiate and persuade effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
