Job Description

Install, configure, and upgrade Cognos and Informatica application components, including servers, clients, and related tools
Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of Cognos and Informatica environments
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cognos and Informatica applications, databases, servers, and integrations
Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and implementation
Implement and enforce best practices for Cognos and Informatica administration, security, and performance tuning
Manage user access, roles, and permissions within Cognos and Informatica environments
Coordinate with vendors for product support, patches, upgrades, and license management
Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Cognos and Informatica technologies
Document technical processes, procedures, and configuration
