Job description:

• Handson experience with Cognos administration and architecture

• Strong understanding of Cognos Connection Framework Manager and Report Studio

• Familiarity with WebSphere Tomcat relational databases and Windows Linux environments

• Proficiency in troubleshooting logs performance tuning and server optimization

• Experience with SSO configuration and integration with enterprise systems

• Need to work in 247 L2 Support model

• Should have meticulous and detailed problem-solving skills

• Excellent Analytical Communication Reporting Skills

• Should have experience working in ITIL Process ServiceNow Control M or equivalent

• Role L2 Data Tools Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Install configure and maintain IBM Cognos Analytics environments 10x or 11x

• Perform upgrades patches and migrations of Cognos components

• Manage Cognos services dispatcher settings and gateway configurations

• Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and optimize report delivery

• Administer user roles groups and security policies using LDAP Active Directory

• Collaborate with BI developers and business teams to support reporting and dashboard needs

• Manage content store backups deployments and lifecycle management
