Co-Founder & Chief Scientific Officer

We are a clean-tech materials company building a world-first technology at the intersection of agricultural waste valorisation, high-temperature inorganic chemistry, and India's critical minerals supply chain. We are developing a process that has no domestic precedent, addresses a multi-billion-dollar national strategic gap, and is being built in collaboration with international researchers and advisors. We are funded, facility-ready, and moving fast. This is a co-founding opportunity not a job.

We are secretive about our exact product by design. What we can say: we work with high temperature carbothermal reduction processes, electric arc furnace systems, and inorganic materials characterisation at the intersection of agricultural waste feedstocks and advanced materials manufacturing.

The Role

As Co-Founder and CSO, you will own the entire technical direction of the company, from laboratory proof-of-concept through pilot scale to commercial process design. You will lead the experimental programme, drive patent development, manage characterisation and purity verification, and be the primary technical interface with customers, grant bodies, and future investors. You will work directly alongside the CEO and have full autonomy over the scientific roadmap.

What We Are Looking For

You have a PhD or are completing a PhD in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Energy Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a directly related field. Your research has touched high-temperature inorganic processes - carbothermal reduction, arc furnace operations, solid-state reactions, or materials synthesis at temperatures above 1500°C. You are comfortable with materials characterisation - XRD, ICP-MS, XRF, SEM and you understand what purity means in a functional materials context. You have thought about what it takes to take a laboratory process to pilot scale.
