Key Responsibilities
- Architect and scale cloud-native systems on AWS (preferred) / GCP / Azure
- Build high-throughput backend services (Node/Python)
- Design distributed systems (event-driven architectures, queues, caching, async workers)
- Implement autoscaling, high availability, DR, and performance optimization
- Manage infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Set up observability (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK) and lead incident response
- Optimize cloud costs using FinOps principles
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to design scalable solutions
Requirements
- 6-9 years in backend/cloud engineering
- Experience scaling systems to 100K+ users or high RPS environments
- Strong AWS knowledge (EKS/ECS, Lambda, RDS/DynamoDB, SQS/Kafka, Redis, CDN)

- Hands-on with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
- Strong ownership and ability to communicate technical trade-offs
