Cloud Architect

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable cloud data architecture on Microsoft Azure.
• Architect modern data platforms including data lakes, lakehouse, and data warehouse solutions.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data models to support healthcare analytics and reporting.
• Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related Azure services.
• Build large-scale data processing pipelines using Azure Databricks and Spark frameworks.
• Implement analytics platforms using Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Design secure storage and data lake solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Integrate data from EHR, EMR, clinical systems, and healthcare applications.
• Implement data governance, lineage, cataloging, and quality frameworks.
• Define and enforce data security, access control, encryption, and PHI protection mechanisms.
• Enable advanced analytics and BI using Microsoft Power BI.
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and healthcare SMEs to deliver data solutions.
• Provide architecture guidance, best practices, and technical leadership across data initiatives.
• Conduct architecture reviews and performance optimization for enterprise data platforms.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Azure cloud data architecture and services.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling (dimensional, star schema, or data vault).
• Experience with SQL, Python, or Spark-based data processing.
• Experience designing batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Experience implementing data lakehouse and enterprise data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance frameworks in healthcare.
