Job Description: Cloud AI Infra Architect:
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 5.5 - 8 years of experience with architecting, designing and implementing end-to-end cloud infrastructure solutions across leading Cloud platforms with a special focus on Azure and Google Cloud Platform
- Handson experience in Python development with the ability to design and build proof-of-concept (POC) Generative AI and Agentic AI use cases, leveraging services such as Google Cloud Vertex AI, Azure AI Foundry, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLM) application development frameworks, RetrievalAugmented Generation (RAG) architectures is good to have.
Must have skills
- Cloud Infrastructure Architecture Demonstrated expertise in architecting secure, scalable, and resilient hybrid and cloud-native infrastructure solutions on Azure and GCP, with deep knowledge of cloud services, networking, IAM, cost optimization, multi-cloud strategies, and hands-on experience with the pillars of the well-architected framework.
- Design and Development of AI Solutions on Cloud Basic understanding and hands-on experience designing cloud infrastructure solutions to support AI/Generative AI/Agentic AI proof-of-concept use cases / solutions using either of the below platforms:
- Google Cloud Vertex AI (Prompt Design, Agent Builder, Vector Search, LLM orchestration, Tooling)
- Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI (Prompt Flow, Agent orchestration, Model deployments)
- Microsoft Copilot Studio (Plugins, custom connectors, enterprise data grounding, agent behavior design)
- Strong hands-on Python development experience will be preferred.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration Management Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management leveraging tools such as Terraform, Ansible, python scripting etc. with a strong track record of automating cloud infrastructure provisioning, ensuring consistency and compliance across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
- DevOps / DevSecOps Knowledge Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade DevOps and DevSecOps solutions, with strong proficiency in GitHub, GitHub Actions, and enterprise CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Cloud Build etc.). Understanding secure coding practices, release automation, versioning, artifact management, and code-quality tooling.

- Datacenter Architecture / VMWare Understanding and working experience in architecting and modernizing datacenter infrastructure using VMware or equivalent virtualization platforms, with a strong track record in leading complex datacenter migration and exit engagements, planning / merging new datacenter including workload assessment, planning, and execution.
- Nutanix and RedHat OpenShift Virtualization Platforms Familiarity with designing hybrid/private cloud architectures leveraging RedHat OpenShift, Nutanix platforms with hands-on experience in architecting and implementing VMWare to OpenShift migration engagements would be an added advantage.
- Networking Architecture Demonstrated experience in designing resilient and fault-tolerant network architecture for datacenter and cloud infrastructure solutions. Familiarity with modern network architecture concepts such as Software-defined networking (such as SDWAN etc.).
- Workplace Transformation Proven experience in leading workplace transformation initiatives, including strategy formulation and execution of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, with strong understanding of identity, access, and collaboration architecture in enterprise environments.
- Site Reliability Engineering Knowledge of implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including reliability design, observability, incident response, and automation to ensure scalable, resilient, and high-performing cloud infrastructure on leading tools such as ELK/Dynatrace/Splunk/Grafana etc.
- Enterprise Architecture Deep understanding and implementation experience of enterprise architecture frameworks and principles across multiple industry sectors, preferably TOGAF-certified, with strong capabilities in architecture governance, technology alignment, and driving strategic transformation initiatives.
