In your new role you will:
- Cloud Solution Design and Implementation: Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions usingAWSservices, including:
- EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and other AWS services.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage AWS environments, including:
- Setup, monitoring, and optimization of AWS resources.
- Ensuring cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.
- Code Development and Maintenance: Write and maintain robust, clean, and efficient code, including:
- Strong programming skills inPython, Java, Node.js.
- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services and infrastructure, including:
- Identifying and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams, IT operations, to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions.
- Cloud Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards, including:
- Strong knowledge of cloud security practices and infrastructure management.
- Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Cost Analysis and Budget Management: Assist in cost analysis and budget management for AWS resources, including:
- Analyzing costs and providing recommendations for cost optimization.
- Collaborating with business leads and product owners to understand solution requirements and identify and implement scalable, secure architectural patterns.
- Staying Current with AWS Services: Stay current with new AWS services and features, and recommend improvements to existing architecture, including:
- Researching and evaluating new AWS services and features.
- Providing recommendations for improvements to existing architecture.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in software development with a focus on AWS cloud services.
- Proficient inAWSservices such asEC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.
- Strong programming skills inPython, Java, Node.js.
- Experience withDevOpstools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge ofcloud security practicesand infrastructure management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding ofdatabases(e.g. MySQL) andNoSQL(e.g. Elasticsearch, etc).
