Role Description

The Civil Engineer, Water & Wastewater role at Ecometrix Consultants is a full-time, on-site position located Tamilnadu, U.T. of Pondicherry & Karnataka. Responsibilities include Survey & Investigation, designing and planning civil engineering projects, particularly focusing on water and wastewater systems. The selected candidate will oversee Field activities including Survey & Investigations, Data Collection, GAP analysis, Projections, catchment delineation, assist in designs, Preparation of DPR, Preparation of Drawings and Estimates, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the successful execution of sustainable engineering solutions. Daily tasks will involve site assessments, project planning, execution oversight, and ensuring that designs meet regulatory requirements and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Civil Engineering Design and expertise in foundational Civil Engineering principles
• Strong skills in Planning and managing project timelines and resources
• Proficiency in Water / Wastewater / Stormwater Management and related infrastructure planning
• Understanding of Civil Engineering principles specific to water and wastewater systems
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in water and wastewater projects, including familiarity with local regulations and best practices
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in civil engineering design
• Commitment to delivering sustainable and high-quality engineering solutions
• Willingness to travel and onsite deployment
