Hiring Civil/Structural Engineers – Solar PV
Experience
- 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in structural design and detailing
- Solar project experience preferred; prefab/power/energy/O&G/buildings can also apply
- Consulting/engineering design experience preferred
Core Requirement (Non-Negotiable)
- Demonstrated application of IS codes and standards including IS 456, IS 13920, IS 800, IS 875 (all parts), IS 1893, IS 2911, IS 1904, IS 3370 and other relevant codes for RCC, steel, loads, foundations and industrial/building structures
- Hands-on design experience (RCC and steel structures)
- Ability to independently prepare design calculations and drawings
- Proven ownership of design packages (not just coordination/review)
Role
- Civil & structural design for solar projects (grading, drainage, foundations, structures)
- Design of equipment foundations, control room buildings, canopy/steel structures
- Prepare drawings, BOQs, and design calculations
- Execute deliverables end-to-end with minimal supervision
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
Software
- AutoCAD (mandatory), Civil 3D preferred
- STAAD / equivalent (preferred)
- Excel (working proficiency)
- GIS tools (good to have)
Qualification
- B.E./M.E. Civil or Structural Engineering
