Key Tasks & responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, focusing on workflow optimization and automation.Develop and maintain Jenkins shared libraries and plugins using Groovy.
Create and maintain automated scripts and tools using Python to enhance CI/CD processes.
Integrate various testing frameworks and code quality tools into the CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.
Monitor pipeline health and performance, implementing improvements as needed.
Monitor daily state of CI environment
Provide weekly status reports of CI environment
Collaborate with development teams to integrate their projects into the CI/CD system.Document CI/CD workflows, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in CI/CD tooling
Minimum education requirements and experience
Bachelor Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years of commercial experience, Master Science with 3 years of experience,
Expertise in DevOps Technologies & Principles (CI/CD)Experience with (Cloud Based) CI Systems like Jenkins, Gitlab CI or even GitHub Actions.
Experience with (embedded) software build systems
Preferred qualifications & skills
Experience in pipeline/workflow development (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Proficiency in container virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker or LXC).Skilled in platform-independent scripting languages (e.g., Python) for tool development and testing.
Proficiency in platform-dependent Unix scripting languages (e.g., BASH for Linux).
Advanced git usage for continuous integration and developer tooling support.
Experience with REST APIs and other service integrations.
