Technical Lead - Automation with Python

• 5-7 years of overall IT experience
• Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in test automation
• Strong expertise in: Kubernetes, Python, Pytest, playwright with Javascript /typescript, BDD, Cucumber,Java

Experience with:

• Designing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Gherkin syntax and BDD principles
• Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
• Version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Test reporting and defect tracking tools (e.g., ALM, JIRA)
• API testing (REST Assured) - optional
• Linux/Unix shell scripting - basic

Preferred Skills:

• Page Object Model (POM)
• Data-driven testing
• Test result analysis and debugging
• Ability to mentor junior team members

Scope of Work

• Analyze and prioritize 200 manual test cases for automation
• Develop automation scripts using Kubernetes, Python, Pytest, playwright with Javascript /typescript, BDD, Cucumber,
• Containerize test environments using Docker
• Deploy and manage test execution via Kubernetes
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Provide documentation and weekly progress reports
