This is a senior enterprise role responsible for shaping brand, digital, customer, and commercial strategy in a sector undergoing significant transformation. About the Role
The CMO will build and scale a modern, insight‑driven marketing function that strengthens the company's reputation, drives commercial growth, and positions the organization as a forward‑thinking leader in energy and infrastructure. This leader will oversee brand strategy, digital platforms, customer experience, market insights, and integrated campaigns across India, the Middle East, and Europe.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience operating in complex, regulated environments and understands how to navigate government stakeholders, long‑cycle investment, and evolving sustainability expectations. This is a mandate to elevate the company's presence with customers, policymakers, partners, and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a unified marketing strategy across brand, digital, customer experience, and insights
- Build and lead a high‑performing marketing organization headquartered in Mumbai
- Strengthen the company's reputation with government stakeholders, partners, and communities
- Drive digital transformation across platforms, analytics, and customer engagement
- Lead integrated campaigns that support commercial growth across India and EMEA
- Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to align marketing with long‑term business strategy
- Establish performance metrics and drive continuous improvement across all marketing functions
- Oversee talent development, capability building, and organizational design for a modern marketing function
Ideal Background
- Twenty years of progressive marketing leadership experience in energy, industrials, infrastructure, utilities, or other complex regulated sectors
- Experience operating across India and international markets; EMEA exposure strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise‑level brand transformation
- Deep expertise in digital, customer, and commercial strategy
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and boards
- Proven ability to build teams, modernize capabilities, and lead through change
- MBA required
