Job Description: Chief Marketing Officer (Equity-Based) – HiWoxRole Overview
We are looking for a
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) who will lead
brand, growth, positioning, and market expansion for HiWox. This is a
founding leadership role with end-to-end ownership of how HiWox is
perceived, trusted, and adopted across the healthcare ecosystem.
This is not a campaign-management role — you will be responsible for building a
category-defining, credibility-first healthcare brand, while driving both
B2B and B2C growth at scale.
Equity Structure (Important)
- This is a pure equity-based leadership role (no fixed compensation initially)
- 3–4 rounds of discussions → 1-month NDA-based working cohort → Leadership/cofounder agreement
- Equity finalized post funding & Pvt. Ltd. registration
- 5-year vesting structure
- Fixed compensation begins post funding
- You will be part of the core leadership team building HiWox from ground up
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Vision & Strategy (Core Focus)
- Define and own the overall marketing vision and roadmap for HiWox
- Build strategies across branding, growth, content, partnerships, and distribution
- Align marketing with innovation pipeline, product launches, and long-term company vision
- Brand Building & Category Positioning
- Create a strong brand identity centered on healthcare innovation and trust
- Position HiWox as a thought leader in emerging and underserved healthcare domains
- Ensure consistent and powerful messaging across all channels and touchpoints
- Thought Leadership & Authority Building
- Lead content, storytelling, and knowledge-driven marketing
- Build HiWox's presence through LinkedIn, industry forums, research publications, and media
- Position the company and its leaders as experts in innovation and healthcare
- Growth & Performance Marketing
- Design and execute scalable growth strategies across digital channels
- Build structured funnels for user acquisition, partner onboarding, and engagement
- Optimize CAC, LTV, and conversion metrics through data-driven decision-making
- Go-To-Market & Product Launch Strategy
- Lead go-to-market strategies for new products, pilots, and innovations
- Ensure strong positioning, messaging, and adoption during launches
- Work closely with product and innovation teams to translate solutions into market-ready offerings
- Ecosystem & Partnership Marketing
- Drive marketing efforts for institutional partnerships, healthcare collaborations, and ecosystem players
- Build strong B2B marketing strategies targeting hospitals, institutions, and organizations
- Position HiWox effectively within industry networks and strategic alliances
- Team Building & Leadership
- Build and lead the marketing team across content, performance, and brand functions
- Define structure, roles, and processes for a scalable marketing organization
- Foster a culture of ownership, experimentation, and high-performance execution
- Data-Driven Strategy & Optimization
- Track and analyze marketing performance across channels
- Use insights to refine positioning, campaigns, and growth strategies
- Continuously improve efficiency and impact of marketing efforts
Who Should Apply
- 6–12+ years experience in marketing, brand building, or growth leadership roles
- Strong experience in healthcare, wellness, deep-tech, or innovation-driven sectors
- Proven track record in building brands from 0→1 or scaling startups
- Expertise in both brand strategy and performance marketing
- Experience in B2B + B2C marketing environments
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities
