National Sales Head will lead and drive the channel sales strategy across India, ensuring revenue growth, market penetration, and strong partner relationships. This role requires a proven track record in managing large-scale sales operations, developing GTM strategies, and building high-performing teams.

Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing national sales team (including regional/territory managers) to ensure effective execution of sales plans and achievement of targets.

  • Market Analysis & Intelligence: Conduct regular analysis of market trends, competitive activity, and customer preferences to identify new market opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Partner Management: Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with channel partners . Responsibilities also include the recruitment and development of new partners.
  • Partner Recruitment and Onboarding: Identify, recruit, and negotiate agreements with new channel partners to expand market reach. Design and implement effective onboarding processes to ensure partners are set up for success.
  • Channel Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive national channel GTM strategy that identifies target markets, partner profiles, and aligns with company-wide goals for revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set clear sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for regions and track performance, utilizing CRM tools and sales reports to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing, Product, and Finance, to ensure alignment of strategies, develop effective sales campaigns, and manage the sales budget.
  • Key Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and major customers, often accompanying team members on field visits.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills to manage partners and internal stakeholders effectively.
  • Sales Enablement and Training: Ensure partners are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to sell the company's products effectively. This involves developing training programs, providing sales tools and collateral, and ensuring partners understand the product value proposition and competitive landscape.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and manage budgets for channel sales operations.
  • Strategy Development: Formulate and execute national sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve company objectives through the partner network.
  • Sales & Distribution Ecosystem: Manage and optimize the entire distribution network, ensuring effective market penetration and coverage across different regions.
  • Provide strategic direction to the Sales team in developing business to exploit best market opportunities.
  • Drive Budget planning, tracking & delivering performance for the FY.
  • Responsible for All India Sales including Products thru. VAPs, SI's End Customers, Consultants, Influencers, PMCs
  • Stakeholder management to ensure business success and customer value.
  • Drive Partner management program & establish new partners to address unserved geographies / Markets. Understanding the gap area and appointing new & profitable channel partners after evaluation PAM of the region and probable Channel conflict.
  • Creating avenues for product marketing for right prescription in the targeted vertical. Explore digital marketing initiatives for the mass reach to the customer.
  • Build the team having dedicated specialists for key core activities rather than having non dedicated multi taskers. Goal is to provide optimum performance at minimum cost.

Education & Expected Skills

  • BE/B.tech (MBA preferred)
  • Min 15+ years of experience in Building Management System.
  • Marketing Mix Management & Digital marketing.
  • Good exposure to competition customers, fit-out market and consultants.
  • Team Management and Stakeholder management.
  • Good presentation, analytical, troubleshooting, negotiation and influencing skills.

Willingness to work and adapt to a fast growing & changing environment, participate to the development of new ideas & concepts.
