Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements.
- Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's strategic goals.
- Create and manage financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.
- Advise on investment strategies, capital structure, and fundraising.
Financial Management:
- Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
Risk Management:
- Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.
- Develop risk management strategies and implement financial controls to ensure robust financial governance.
- Ensure that the company adheres to legal and regulatory requirements.
Leadership and Development:
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities to finance staff.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting operations and efficiencies.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
- Professional Certification: CPA, CFA, or similar certification is highly desirable.
- Experience:
- At least 10-15 years of progressively responsible financial experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning, strategy, and management.
- Experience in Gems and Jewellery Industry is preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of Real Estate industry is preferred.

Working Conditions:
- Will require extended hours during peak financial periods or to meet deadlines.
- Reporting time: 9am.
