We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer or CFO to join our team of high-performing professionals and keep our finances positioned for continued success. The one who could perform effective risk management and plan the organisation's financial strategy. He will be responsible to manage and lead the financial initiatives of a company.
The goal is to protect the company's revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth. They must decide where to invest company funds, oversee the capital structure and optimal financing options for the company, provide strategic direction, as well as track cash flow, manage the accounting and finance departments, and ensure the company's financial reports are accurate. To take responsibility (either directly or via staff) for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, and help drive the company's financial strategy and hiring needs
Responsibilities
- Work with senior managers to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract/grant compliance and reporting
- Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyse internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement
- Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
- Control and evaluate the organisation's fundraising plans and capital structure
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate and compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organisation.
- Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as reporting for the same
- Manage vendor relationships
- Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
- Set up and oversee the company's finance IT system
- Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies
- Manage team of accounts and financial analysts.
- Any other task as assigned.
Requirements And Skills
- Proven experience as CFO, finance offer or relevant role
- Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business accounting, or finance
- In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and Tally
- Ability to strategize and solve problems along with Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and people skills. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
