Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chef De Partie position based in Srinagar. The Chef De Partie will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in line with culinary standards. Responsibilities include ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, liaising with kitchen staff, and managing food storage to prevent wastage. The role also involves supervising and mentoring junior kitchen staff to maintain consistency and efficiency in dish preparation.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in culinary techniques, food preparation, and plating
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management practices
  • Ability to lead, supervise, and train junior kitchen staff effectively
  • Experience in time management and multi-tasking in a high-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Kashmiri, Indian, and international cuisines
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Formal culinary training or a degree in culinary arts is advantageous
  • Previous experience in a similar role at a reputable establishment
