Role Summary
As a CDP at Food Whisperer, you'll lead a specific section of the kitchensuch as , South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, or Awadhiand ensure every dish meets the brand's high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Section Management: Independently run your assigned kitchen section with precision and ownership.
- Cooking & Presentation: Prepare dishes according to standard recipes; ensure mise en place is ready for smooth service.
- Quality Control: Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation; check freshness and storage.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with Sous and Head Chefs; mentor junior staff in technique and hygiene.
- Inventory & Waste Management: Monitor stock, report shortages, minimize waste, and ensure proper labeling and storage.
Requirements
- 58 years of professional kitchen experience, ideally in a CDP or similar role.
- Expertise in at least one Cuisine(South India, Chinese, Mughlai etc.).
- Strong grasp of culinary techniques, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain quality during busy service.
- Culinary certification preferred but not mandatory.
