Job Description

We are seeking a Channel Sales Manager to execute business development in a defined region. This role is responsible for driving bus sales volumes and market shares, managing dealer channels, leading a sales team, and ensuring profitability.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Business Understanding:

  • Channel management
  • Team management, competency
  • Value selling
  • Product and segment/application understanding with respect to superiority over competition products

Area of Responsibility:

  • Bus sales volumes: Achieve business plan sales volume for the territory, with adequate focus on built-up sales.
  • Profitable Growth: Achieve sales volumes, model mix, and penetration in high growth/profit segments.
  • Community Creation: Implement the customization process to become the best possible option for the commuter segment and point-to-point service.
  • People Management: Manage self and team performance, and collaborate with regional stakeholders to achieve retention and national business plan.

Skills Required

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech / Diploma & MBA
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-8 years of relevant experience in automobile sales or the Commercial Vehicle (CV) industry.
  • Strong skills in channel and team management.
  • Proficiency in value selling and understanding product superiority.
  • Experience in managing sales volumes and achieving profitable growth.
  • Excellent people management and collaboration skills.
