Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who will own the planning, analytics, and strategic roadmap for key categories. This role is highly data-driven and requires someone who can translate insights into actionable business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Own category planning and forecasting, including demand planning and inventory optimization
- Analyze category performance across metrics like sales, margins, conversion, and growth trends
- Identify growth opportunities, gaps, and inefficiencies within the category
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Buying, Marketing, Supply Chain) to drive category performance
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models for decision-making
- Drive pricing, assortment, and promotional strategies based on data insights
- Support leadership with strategic inputs and business planning
- Continuously optimize category performance through experimentation and analysis
Requirements
- Experience in analytics, consulting, category planning, or strategy roles
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (advanced), SQL, or data tools
- Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights
- Strong problem-solving and structured thinking approach
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly
