Role Overview

Amity Global School, Noida is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Career Counselor to guide students in making informed academic and career decisions. The role involves providing personalized counseling, organizing career-related programs, and supporting students in university applications both in India and abroad.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one career counseling to students (Grades IX–XII) regarding subject selection, career pathways, and higher education options.

Guide students through university applications, including profile building, SOPs, LORs, and interview preparation.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global universities, admission requirements, and career trends.

Conduct career workshops, seminars, and parent orientation sessions.

Administer and interpret career assessment tools to help students identify strengths and interests.

Build and maintain relationships with universities, admission representatives, and external partners.

Track student progress and maintain accurate counseling records.

Support students in preparing for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, IELTS, etc.) by providing guidance and resources.

Key Requirements

Master's degree in Psychology / Counseling / Education / Career Guidance or related field.

Relevant experience in school counseling or career guidance, preferably in an IB/International school.

Strong knowledge of international and Indian university admission processes.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and faculty.

Certification in career counseling (preferred).
