Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Academic Advisor, located in Delhi, OH. The Academic Advisor will engage with students to provide personalized education and career advice, assist in creating effective learning plans, and guide students through the application and enrollment processes. The role also involves coordinating with universities, conducting informational sessions, and supporting students academic and professional growth through tailored resources and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
- Knowledge of higher education programs, career counseling, and relevant academic paths
- Ability to guide students in the application process for UG and PG programs
- Proficiency in organizing and conducting counseling sessions, workshops, or webinars
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address individual student concerns
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in managing diverse responsibilities
- Proficiency with education platforms, database tools, or CRM systems is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
