The platform offers conversations, consultations, screenings, follow-ups, long-term health insights, and health record management, all accessible via WhatsApp and browser without requiring app downloads. It supports individuals managing their own health as well as that of family and friends, providing a convenient, integrated experience. Gynexa also partners with women's health providers, both digital and physical, to enhance reach, engagement, retention, and clinical impact. The organization is focused on combining technology and compassionate care to improve women's health outcomes.

Role Description Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting structured conversations, offering initial counselling within defined protocols, guiding users to appropriate consultations or screenings, and supporting follow-ups to ensure continuity of care. The role involves documenting interactions accurately, maintaining user confidentiality, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to escalate complex cases when needed.

Handle health-related inquiries from patients. Explain Gynexa app features and digital healthcare benefits. Coordinate with internal backend and network teams to resolve operational issues.

The Care Counsellor will also provide sales and social media marketing support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong counselling and communication skills, including active listening, clear written communication, and the ability to explain health information in accessible language.
  • Experience in women's health, health counselling, patient health coordination.
  • Comfort working with digital tools and chat-based platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, web browsers), and ability to learn new health technology systems quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive topics with discretion, maintain confidentiality, and follow ethical and professional boundaries.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple user interactions, follow-ups, and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Ability to work in a remote setting, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and adapt to evolving protocols in a startup environment.
  • Proficiency in Hindi and English with users.
  • Use of AI to generate creatives, basic documents if needed.
  • Relevant educational background such as psychology, social work, nursing, counselling, or public health; formal counselling certification or clinical experience is an advantage.
