Work Experience:
Minimum Experience:
12-15 years of experience in managing operations at scale. Experience in running L&D function or managing academic or skilling institutions is preferred.
5+ years in leadership/administrative roles with budget, faculty, and student management responsibilities.
Experience in managing operations, planning and delivery, people development, and quality assurance is essential. Preferred:
Experience in skilling, vocational training, or industry-aligned academic programs.
Exposure to cross-functional operations like budgeting, resource management, and administrative oversight.
Academic Credentials
Master's degree in relevant disciplines such as Engineering, Technology, Management, Education, or Vocational Studies.
Preferred / Stronger Candidates: -
PhD or equivalent research experience in relevant technical/management/education fields. Postgraduate certifications in Educational Leadership, Academic Administration, or Pedagogy. Specialized exposure in Industry 4.0 technologies, skill development, or vocational training programs.
Duties and Responsibilities of Director
The Director is responsible for overseeing all academic operations of the campus and serving as a visionary leader with high initiative and drive. The role involves planning, leading, and coordinating various activities to ensure the institute's excellence and growth.
A) Academic Operations & Quality Assurance
Drive academic operational efficiency by ensuring timely execution of training programs, maintaining scope, and upholding the highest quality standards.
Oversee curriculum planning, content development, and delivery in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ensure alignment with industry standards and OEM requirements for technology adoption, curriculum relevance, and practical skill training.
Monitor academic performance, trainee outcomes, and trainer effectiveness to sustain consistent training quality.
Maintain a safe and secure learning and working environment by implementing and monitoring safety protocols for students, faculty, and staff.
B) Campus Operations & Resource Management
Lead the day-to-day functioning of the campus, ensuring seamless coordination among academic, administrative, and support teams.
Optimize utilization of campus resources, including labs, equipment, faculty, and infrastructure.
Supervise the technical support team responsible for OEM machines to ensure their readiness, maintenance, and operational efficiency.
Manage budget planning, financial controls, and cost optimization in line with institutional policies.
Uphold campus safety, discipline, and hygiene standards across all departments.
C) Faculty & Student Development
Recruit, develop, and retain competent faculty members; implement structured Faculty Development and Training-of-Trainer (ToT) programs.
Organize faculty meetings, orientations, and workshops to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Lead initiatives for student development, focusing on employability, professional behavior, and holistic growth.
D) Strategic Alignment & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with cross-functional and corporate teams to align campus operations with organizational goals and strategies.
Contribute to long-term planning, policy development, and program expansion to foster institutional growth.
Represent the campus in partnerships with industry, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
E) Culture & Leadership
Ensure compliance with institutional policies, academic standards, and statutory regulations.
Foster a culture rooted in empathy, accountability, and integrity, aligned with the Group principles.
Provide strong local leadership, mentor teams, and cultivate a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for staff and students.
Director-specific Skills:
