Job Description

Job Title: CAIE English Teacher (Primary & Lower Secondary)

Location: Mangalore, Karnataka, India

Position Overview

We are seeking a English Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will teach English across the Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary programmes, fostering students language proficiency, literacy skills, critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary English curriculum frameworks.
  • Develop students skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
  • Foster critical thinking, creativity, and communication through a variety of literary and language-based activities.
  • Create inquiry-based and interactive learning experiences that promote active participation.
  • Prepare annual plans, schemes of work, lesson plans, and learning resources aligned with Cambridge learning objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and learning outcomes.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English, English Literature, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
  • B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in English at the Primary and/or Lower Secondary level.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English.

8:00 am–4:30 pm (Mon–Fri), 8:00 am–2:30 pm (Sat)
