About the Representative role
Imagine empowering driven entrepreneurs in Bangalore and the surrounding area to build a structurally better future for their communities, socially, ecologically, and economically. Picture yourself at the forefront of connecting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with the right experts, guiding growth and fostering sustainable development. Your strength in acquisition and networking will help expand PUM's local reach and spark meaningful change for entrepreneurs. You're not just a representative, you're an ambassador for PUM. As the first point of contact for potential clients, you'll build and nurture relationships, enable impactful collaborations, and strengthen a local network that supports PUM's annual goals in India.
You'll receive a monthly expense allowance of €100 and a performance-based reward of €400 for each successful project, along with expense reimbursement. We're looking for individuals interested in a long-term commitment, ideally four years or more. At PUM, we value diversity and inclusion as essential pillars of our culture. What You'll Do
• Acquire new clients, ensuring they align with PUM's mission
• Build and maintain networks with key stakeholders, including business clubs, entrepreneurs, and professionals in Bangalore and the surrounding area
• Partner with entrepreneurs, propelling their journey toward sustainable and inclusive business development • Ensure smooth project implementations, guiding entrepreneurs through the process
• Working towards a minimum of 10 successful projects per year.
Who are you
We are looking for an authentic, resilient, articulate and well-connected professional with strong intercultural sensitivity, who thrives on building relationships and facilitating business growth. We are looking for someone with:
• Proven experience in client acquisition, networking, and program management
• Strong knowledge of India's socio-economic landscape, culture, and business environment
• An established professional network in relevant sectors
• Good communication skills in English; additional local language skills are a plus
• A background in international NGO collaboration or the development sector is prefered
• Experience in people management and stakeholder engagement
• Availability for multiple days per week (roughly 16 hours)
• Proficiency in using digital tools, including Microsoft 365.
