As Café Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end experience of Du Jour—from daily operations and team leadership to customer satisfaction and brand consistency.
This role requires someone who can balance systems and service—ensuring the café runs efficiently while delivering a warm, seamless guest experience.
Operations & Store Management- Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor coordination
- Monitor daily sales, wastage, and cost controls
Team Leadership- Hire, train, and manage café staff (service + support roles)
- Set clear expectations and maintain discipline and accountability
- Create schedules and manage shift planning
- Build a positive, high-performance team culture
Guest Experience- Ensure every customer interaction reflects Du Jour's brand values
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests with care
- Maintain service quality, speed, and consistency
- Elevate the overall café experience through attention to detail
Brand & Standards- Uphold Du Jour's visual, service, and product standards
- Ensure consistency in presentation, communication, and ambiance
- Work closely with founders on improving systems and experience
Growth & Performance- Drive store performance and revenue targets
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience
- Support local marketing efforts and in-store initiatives
Who You Are- 2–5 years experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality management
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Customer-first mindset with a problem-solving attitude
- Comfortable with fast-paced, hands-on environments
