Role Description

This full-time on-site CA Articleship role is based in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for performing tasks such as assisting in financial analysis, auditing, tax planning, and compliance reporting. Additionally, the role involves preparing financial statements, conducting research for mergers and acquisitions, and supporting project financing and restructuring processes. Candidates may also be required to handle client communications and collaborate with team members on corporate finance projects.

Core Responsibilities

  • Audit & Assurance:Assist in conducting statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and bank audits. This includes vouching, transaction verification, and bank/stock reconciliations.
  • Direct Taxation:Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and corporates. Perform tax planning, calculations for advance tax, and TDS compliance.
  • Indirect Taxation (GST):Handle GST registration, filing of monthly/quarterly returns, and GST reconciliations.
  • Accounting & Compliance:Finalisation of accounts, maintaining books, and preparing financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
  • MCA & Regulatory:Assist in ROC filings and other corporate law compliances.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education:Passed CA Intermediate (both groups preferred).
  • Technical Skills:Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel (advanced), and MS Word. Familiarity with income tax and GST portals.
  • Soft Skills:Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Other:Attention to detail, ability to meet strict deadlines, and a willingness to travel for audits.
