• Candidate should have diploma in mechanical engineering.
• Should have 2/3 years of experience in setting and programming of V.M.C. & C.N.C. Turning Machines.
• Should have knowledge of modern trends in C.N.C Machines.
Responsibilities:
- Machine setup: Prepare and set up CNC machines (e.g., turning centers, milling machines) for specific operations.
- Operation: Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Programming and adjustments: Load CNC programs, and adjust or fine-tune machine settings as needed for optimal performance. This may sometimes involve minor programming.
- Quality control: Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, using measuring equipment and conducting visual inspections.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor adjustments. Report any major faults to the maintenance department.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the production process, such as machine malfunctions or substandard product quality.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of machine settings, production runs, maintenance activities, and any problems encountered.
- Safety: Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaboration: Liaise with other team members, such as engineers, to discuss new product components, programming, and fixturing.
