Role Overview
We are looking for a mid-level Sales Executive based in Bangalore who will be responsible for building partnerships with apparel brands, retailers, manufacturers, and fashion businesses to source dead stock, excess inventory, and used apparel for our platform.
This is a highly field-driven role requiring strong industry connections, relationship-building skills, and the ability to independently generate and close brand partnerships.
The ideal candidate already understands the apparel ecosystem and has an existing network within fashion brands or garment businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and onboard apparel brands, D2C labels, manufacturers, exporters, and retail chains with excess or unsold inventory.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of partner brands across Bangalore and other key apparel hubs.
- Conduct in-person meetings with brand owners, category heads, sourcing teams, and warehouse managers.
- Pitch our company's solution for dead stock liquidation and sustainable resale.
- Negotiate commercial terms and execute partnership agreements with brands of all sizes.
- Work closely with internal operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and inventory flow.
- Develop long-term relationships with brand stakeholders for recurring inventory partnerships.
- Track leads, meetings, conversions, and partnerships through CRM/reporting systems.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and brand offices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 36 years of sales or business development experience.
- Prior experience in apparel, fashion, textile, retail, sourcing, or merchandising ecosystem preferred.
- Strong network or familiarity with apparel brands and garment industry contacts.
- Comfortable with field sales and frequent travel within Bangalore.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to build pipeline from scratch.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to close deals independently.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working with apparel brands, export houses, buying houses, or retail chains.
- Understanding of inventory liquidation, surplus stock, or resale markets is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution capability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing startup environment.
