Job Overview:

We are looking for a result-oriented and leadership-driven Team Lead – Business Development to lead and guide the sales team towards achieving business growth and revenue targets.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication, leadership, and sales management skills with the ability to motivate teams, improve conversions, and build long-term client relationships. This role focuses heavily on team direction, sales strategy execution, performance monitoring, and revenue contribution.

As a Team Lead, you will play a key role in managing the business development process from lead generation to successful deal closures while ensuring the team achieves its goals effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead, guide, and manage the Business Development team.
  • Assign daily tasks, targets, and priorities to team members.
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and support.
  • Conduct team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Motivate the team to achieve sales and conversion goals.

Sales & Conversion Management

  • Focus on improving lead conversion rates and revenue generation.
  • Support the team in handling high-potential prospects and negotiations.
  • Develop sales strategies to increase business opportunities.
  • Ensure proper follow-ups and pipeline management by the team.
  • Assist in closing important client deals when required.

Client & Business Development

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Understand client requirements and provide suitable business solutions.
  • Participate in demo presentations, business meetings, and strategic discussions.
  • Identify new market opportunities and growth areas.

Reporting & Revenue Contribution

  • Track sales performance metrics and prepare reports.
  • Analyze business performance and suggest improvement strategies.
  • Contribute directly to the company's revenue growth objectives.
  • Coordinate with management regarding targets, progress, and business strategies.

Eligibilty

  • 2-4 yrs Experience in Business Development, Sales, or Team Handling roles
  • Prior experience in managing or mentoring a team is an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of client communication and sales processes
  • Any Graduate / MBA preferred
