Job Description

  • Own the end-to-end P&L of the pharma white-label division from Day 1. Build the team, select CDMOs, finalise the drug portfolio (6–10 products), create the distribution network across Rajasthan and then pan-India, and directly drive the 1,000 Crore revenue target within 36 months. This is an entrepreneurial, execution-first role — not a management or advisory role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drug Portfolio Finalisation (Month 1–2): Finalise 5 entry drugs and 5 major drugs from the white-label catalogue. Source minimum 3 CDMO quotations per drug. Sign agreements by Month 2. Regulatory Setup (Month 1–3): Obtain Drug Manufacturing Licence (Form 20/21), Drug Sale Licence, GST, trademark. Oversee Regulatory Manager for all filings. Distribution Build (Month 2–4): Appoint 1 C&F Agent each in Jaipur and Jodhpur. Appoint 30+ stockists across Rajasthan by Month 4. Team Hiring (Month 1–3): Hire and on-board: Sales Head, 2 RSMs, 8–10 Medical Representatives, Regulatory Manager, Supply Chain Manager. Sales Execution (Month 4 onwards): Oversee MR detailing, KOL programme, CME execution, doctor gift budget deployment. Track prescriptions weekly. P&L Ownership: Report monthly P&L to promoters. Achieve gross margin 28% post-marketing. Flag issues before they become crises — not after. Major Drug Launch (Month 6–9): Lead launch of 5 major drugs once trust is established with first 100 doctors via entry range. Pan-India Expansion (Month 12+): Extend to Gujarat, Maharashtra, MP, Delhi, Punjab. Hire RSMs for each region. Set up C&F network. Weekly Reporting: Submit written weekly report to promoter every Monday 9 AM: prescriptions generated, stockist orders, new doctors onboarded, issues flagged. ANDA / Export Readiness (Month 18+): Initiate discussions with USFDA-approved CDMOs for export-grade manufacturing of Apixaban and Empagliflozin.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS 10–20 years in pharma sales/marketing (not just manufacturing or regulatory — SALES experience mandatory) Must have personally managed a team of 10+ MRs or RSMs Must have launched/worked with pharmaceutical brands from scratch Must have a doctor network in Rajasthan.
