Role Overview:
upGrad is looking to hire a high-impact Business Leader to spearhead a strategic initiative focused on building and scaling a large consumer internet business within the higher education admissions and discovery ecosystem.
This role will own the vision, growth, monetization, and overall business strategy for a platform focused on helping learners discover and enroll into online and hybrid higher education programs, leveraging upGrad's strong university partnerships and extensive program portfolio.
This is a business-building role with significant ownership and is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth environments and wants the opportunity to build a category-defining business from the ground up.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is likely someone currently working at a Director / AVP / GM level, who is one step below CXO leadership and is looking for an opportunity to take larger ownership and build a business from scratch.
We are specifically looking for candidates with strong consumer internet and growth business experience. This is not a traditional admissions, sales, or brand marketing role.
