Job Description

POWERS MY BIZ

Agentic AI RevOps · Bengaluru

Business Head — PupilTree

Own the vertical. Sell to schools. Implement on the ground. Run the P&L.

The right person closes a deal with a principal in the morning, sits with the teachers using the

product in the afternoon, and writes the commercial case for the next school by Friday. Owns the

number. Owns the outcome.

About us

Powers My Biz is an agentic AI RevOps company. We build AI revenue funnels and deploy intelligent agents for

enterprise clients across healthcare, fintech, real estate, education, and financial services. We don't sell software — we

build the systems that run revenue.

PupilTree is our education vertical — an AI-native platform for schools that includes PupilOS (school operations), Learner

Genome (student understanding), ThinkPrint (cognitive profiling), and PupilAssess (assessment intelligence). We build for

schools, and we deploy inside them.

The role

You will run PupilTree as a business inside Powers My Biz. You own the number, the customer, and the outcome. Day to

day that means three things in one role: you build and close the school pipeline (sales and partnerships); you drive

deployments on the ground (implementation and customer success); and you own the commercial picture (P&L, pricing,

renewals, expansion, unit economics). The product and engineering you'll have backing you. The market is yours to win.

This is not a research role. This is not a curriculum role. This is not a pure sales role. This is the operator who builds a

vertical from real revenue, real deployments, and real schools — and who is accountable for whether PupilTree becomes

a business.

The presence we're hiring for

Principals take your call because you understand their pressures — board, parents, fees, teacher attrition, exam results

— and you don't waste their time. Trustees trust you because your commercial case is honest and your numbers hold up.

Teachers respect you because when you walk into the staff room you've done the homework. Internally, engineering and

product trust you because you bring them market truth, not noise.

You hold a point of view on schools and learning that is grounded in reality, not theory. You sell with conviction, but you

don't oversell. You'd rather lose a deal than ship something that won't work in the classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Build and close the school pipeline — outbound to schools, inbound conversion, demos, pilots, commercial

proposals, contracts. Personally close the early deals; then build the engine.

• Run school deployments on the ground — be at the school during pilots and go-lives, train teachers, get parents on

board, debug the messy first month with the school's IT, and stabilize the relationship.

• Own the PupilTree P&L — revenue, pricing, gross margin, cost of delivery, payback period per school, renewal

economics, expansion math.

• Partner with product and engineering — bring back market truth, shape the roadmap with real evidence, make hard

prioritization calls when the school wants one thing and the product needs to do another.

• Build the GTM motion — pricing tiers, sales collateral, case studies, reference schools, partner channels (boards,

school networks, education consultants).

• Hire and grow the PupilTree commercial and deployment team as the vertical scales — sales, account, deployment,

training.

• Be the external face of PupilTree — conferences, school networks, parent communities, press, board-of-trustee

conversations.

What we're looking for• 6+ years of operating experience with at least 4 of those carrying a number, P&L, or vertical ownership. Ed-tech,

school networks, K-12 SaaS, learning platforms, or adjacent enterprise sales — strongly preferred.

• You have personally sold into schools, school networks, or boards of trustees. You understand school budgets,

decision cycles, the role of trustees and parents, and the difference between a principal who can sign and one who

can't.

• You have shipped real deployments — sat in classrooms, trained teachers, handled angry parents, kept the IT

working. You know what 7:45am at a school feels like.

• You have run a P&L or owned a number — and missed it sometimes, and learned what to do the next quarter.

• Formidability with school leaders. Principals don't perform for you. Trustees take your numbers seriously. You hold

the line on pricing and scope when the school pushes.

• Operational range. You can hold a commercial negotiation at 10am, sit in a teacher training at 2pm, and debug a

WiFi issue at 6pm — without changing register.

• Comfortable with the long timelines of education. Schools don't move fast. You hold the long game while driving

weekly momentum.

• Clear thinking and writing. Education is full of vague language. You don't use it. Your commercial case is sharp, your

decks are clean, your follow-ups land.

• A real point of view on schools and learning — held with conviction, updated with evidence.

This is not for you if

• You are an academic or curriculum specialist who wants to influence education from a distance.

• You are a sales leader who sees schools as just another market segment.

• You have never been inside a school past your own school days, and don't want to be.

• You want to write the strategy and hand deployments to someone else.

• You can sell, but you can't deploy. Or you can deploy, but you can't sell.

• You need quarterly enterprise sales cycles. Schools have their own clock and you have to respect it.

• You are uncomfortable being the one accountable for whether the P&L works.

The deal

Bengaluru base, with significant travel to schools across India as the vertical scales. Reports to the Founder & CEO.

Competitive base, performance-linked upside tied directly to PupilTree revenue, gross margin, and deployment outcomes,

and meaningful equity in the vertical. The mandate is to build PupilTree like its own company inside Powers My Biz.

How to apply

Send a short application with:

• Three deals or deployments you personally closed and delivered — the school or institution, what they bought, what

you did, what the commercials looked like, and whether they renewed or expanded.

• A one-page commercial case for PupilTree — given what you can find publicly, how would you take it to market in

the next 12 months What's the wedge, what's the pricing, what would you do first

• Two references — one from a school you sold into or deployed at (principal, trustee, or senior decision-maker), and

one from a peer or boss who watched you carry a number.

  • • Your CV.
