Hiring: Business Head

Role Overview
The Business Head Non Apps will lead the full P&L for the Men's Apparel vertical, including categories such as Menswear, Denim, Athleisure, and related segments. This role requires a strong business leader with experience managing multi-brand portfolios and driving profitable growth across retail channels. The position oversees a high-performing team of Buyers, Merchandisers, Category Heads, and other functional leads.
Key Responsibilities
P&L Ownership & Business Leadership
- Lead the complete retail P&L for the Men's Apparel vertical, ensuring revenue growth, margin optimization, and overall profitability.
- Develop and present the strategic business plan for all brands under the portfolio.
- Ensure financial planning aligns with market trends, consumer demand, and overall company strategy to achieve RGM targets.
Brand & Vendor Management
- Drive new brand acquisition and onboarding, establishing strong partnerships with key players in the apparel and athleisure space.
- Negotiate and leverage partnerships for products, pricing, marketing events, and exclusive collaborations.
- Review, negotiate, and finalize Joint Business Plans (JBP) with brand partners.
Merchandising & Assortment Planning
- Develop the Brand Financial Strategy, including sales targets, margin plans, and receipt budgets for Buy Meetings.
- Ensure merchandise planning and forecasting support the right mix of options, styles, and inventory levels.
- Guarantee that breaking stocks and option counts are aligned with business plans to maximize sales.
Retail Space & Store Layout Optimization
- Plan and optimize store layouts, ensuring strategic brand placement and effective range presentation.
- Ensure the development of space plans that support optimal product ranges for different store formats and maximize returns per square foot.
Team Leadership & Execution
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Buyers, Merchandisers, and Category Heads to ensure consistent execution of business plans.
- Oversee cross-functional alignment across operations, marketing, supply chain, and retail teams.
Business Growth & Market Development
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities to create market differentiation and boost revenue.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, integrating improvements into merchandising and retail processes.
- Drive strategic categories and capitalize on emerging trends within Men's Apparel, Denim, Athleisure, and lifestyle wear.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1015+ years of experience in Apparel Category Management, with direct experience leading multi-brand P&Lpreferably in Men's, Denim, or Athleisure categories.
- Proven leadership in category development, merchandising, buying, and vendor management.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering profitable growth.
- Experience in large-scale retail environments.
