Intern's Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Sales Intern – Student Living | ZoloStays
- Handle inbound student and parent enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, and walk-ins
- Understand customer requirements such as budget, preferred location, college proximity, and stay duration
- Explain property features, pricing, amenities, food options, and safety standards clearly
- Coordinate and schedule property visits for prospective students and parents
- Conduct regular follow-ups with leads until booking confirmation or move-in
- Maintain accurate lead data and update enquiry status in tracking sheets/CRM
- Support occupancy growth by ensuring no enquiry is missed or delayed
- Assist students with booking formalities, documentation, deposits, and onboarding process
- Coordinate with property operations teams to ensure room readiness before move-ins
- Resolve basic customer concerns and escalate critical issues to reporting managers
- Maintain clarity on bed availability, vacancies, and upcoming move-outs
- Build positive relationships with students and parents throughout the conversion journey
- Track daily conversions, follow-ups, and pending leads and share updates with managers
- Observe market trends, admission cycles, and student demand patterns
- Contribute ideas to improve student engagement and conversion rates
- Support smooth move-in experiences and ensure customer satisfaction during onboarding
