Role Overview:-
We are looking for a driven and curious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in outbound business development within a B2B SaaS environment, who enjoys prospecting into enterprise accounts and building strong top-of-funnel pipeline.
You will play a critical role in identifying qualified prospects, engaging senior stakeholders, and setting up high-quality meetings for the Account Executive team through structured and thoughtful outreach.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Prospect into strategic enterprise and mid-market accounts through cold calling, email outreach, and social selling
- Research accounts and stakeholders to identify relevant use cases and buying signals
- Qualify prospects using structured frameworks (BANT / ABX) and set up high-quality meetings for Account Executives
- Drive pipeline creation by executing outbound campaigns aligned with sales and marketing priorities
- Act as a brand ambassador and subject-matter representative for Verloop.io in the market
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, pipeline, and opportunity progress in CRM tools
- Continuously refine outreach strategies using data and performance insights
Desired Skills & Experience:-
- 3+ years of experience in outbound lead generation or business development within a B2B SaaS company
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders
- Highly organised, metrics-driven, and comfortable working independently
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Salesforce, Outplay, LinkedIn, Lusha, or similar sales engagement platforms
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer challenges and buying contexts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup or scale-up environment
