Omnifi empowers lending institutions through a cloud-native, microservices-based lending platform. Our product suite, which includes a Loan Management System and Co-lending Middleware, enables lenders to accelerate their go-to-market strategy, improve compliance, and reduce operational costs.
Role Purpose
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be at the front line of Omnifi's revenue engine. Your primary responsibility is to identify, qualify, and create new business opportunities across India's lending ecosystem.
You will engage founders, CXOs, product leaders, and business teams to understand their priorities, introduce Omnifi's solutions, and convert early interest into qualified opportunities for the Sales team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and generate high-quality leads across India's fintech, NBFC, digital lending, and BFSI segments.
2. Conduct research on target accounts, build prospect lists, and map key decision-makers.
3. Execute structured outbound campaigns via calls, email sequences, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and industry channels.
4. Hold high-level conversations with business leaders to understand needs and qualify pain points.
5. Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and opportunities.
6. Nurture early-stage leads with structured follow-ups and value-driven communication.
7. Maintain complete and accurate CRM data, including lead qualification notes and pipeline movement.
8. Collaborate with Marketing to refine ICPs, messaging, and segmentation.
9. Provide feedback from the market to influence product positioning and GTM strategy.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1. 04 years of experience in B2B sales, BDR/SDR, inside sales, or business development, preferably in SaaS, fintech, BFSI, or technology.
2. Strong communication and consultative conversation skills; confident with cold outreach.
3. Metrics-driven, persistent, and comfortable working towards weekly and monthly targets.
4. Understanding of India's fintech and lending ecosystem is a strong advantage.
5. Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms.
6. Highly coachable, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
7. Curious about technology, lending, AI automation, and digital transformation.
