Business Development Manager

Description:

Need BDM for Northern India based in Noida office & for East zone based at our Kolkata for Marketing & Sales of Specialty & functional Chemicals. Candidates will responsible for business and its growth through customers in industry lines Paints, Inks, constructions (Skim CoatPutty, cement tile adhesive, readymade plaster, Admixtures etc.)

Salary Budget:

o CTC -. Remuneration will not be constraint for the right candidate.

o NCR – 8 to 15 Lacs per annum

Experience:

Candidates should have a strong knowledge of the various specialty & semi specialty/functional chemicals which go in the said industry lines. Should have excellent contacts with the manufactures in industry lines

Paints, Inks, Adhesives, constructions etc. in respective regions.

1. For NCR Region: - NCR, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, J & K, Uttaranchal & Himachal Pradesh.

Preference Back ground

Should have work experience of 5-7 years with at least 3 years in B2B of specialty & semi specialty/functional chemicals. Of the total experience 2-3 years in R&D will be an added advantage.

Qualification:

B.Sc. (PCM combination) /B.Tech/Specialized in Chemical/Paint/Printing Ink/Polymers/Plastics), Having MBA is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

o Responsible for achieving sales targets for the assigned region.

o Deliver the sales volume and revenue forecasts along with the annual operating plan and own

responsibility for the forecast accuracy

o Direct and coordinate all operational and business activities to meet customer requirements

and achieve and/or exceed profit plan and strategic planning goals and objectives.

o Formulate & conceptualize Sales strategies that are aligned with Supplier business strategy.

o Represent company at key industry meetings and conferences to promote company's products and develop the prospect pipeline.

o Build and maintain executive level customer relationships.

o Drive commercial excellence and Value Selling initiatives. Visit R & D teams for better

product positioning.

o Maintain a computerized business lead register and frequently update marketing status in it.

o Prepare monthly sales report and track self-performance.

o Follow up on payments.

Required Skills:

o Strong Networking and Relationship-building skills – internal and external

o Results-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

o Knowledge of Chemical industry trends

o Negotiation Skills

o Strong product and Market knowledge.

o Proven ability to gain and maintain lasting customer relationships

o Proven ability to understand and sell a technical product portfolio

o Well organized with strong customer orientation

o Excellent listening and teamwork skills

o Able to work independently with little guidance

o Candidate must Identify and qualify new business leads and approach new customers from the above industries.

o Field Work- Frequently travel to customer site / plant and identify opportunities.

o A strong leader and motivator with high energy and drive.

o Strong instructions in R & D teams.

o Achieve sales & other manually targets.
