  • Job Title: Business Development Manager
  • Location: Remote or Hybrid / Office Preferred (Bengaluru, India)
  • Experience: 2–7 Years
  • Compensation: Up to ₹25 LPA (Performance-linked incentives; higher for strong performers)
  • Preferred Industry Background: Digital agency sales preferred; open to Software / IT services
  • Markets Exposure: US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, and similar regions
  • Joining Preference: Immediate joiners or short notice period candidates preferred

About The Role

This is a full-cycle sales role suited for individuals who can independently manage the entire sales process—from building pipeline to closing deals and growing accounts. The role requires a high level of ownership, combining strategy, execution, measurement, and continuous improvement.

It is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and enjoys building scalable sales systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the complete sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, discovery, pitching, proposal creation, closure, and handover
  • Build and maintain a consistent outbound engine using email, LinkedIn, and calls where relevant
  • Sell digital services including content, performance marketing, and digital transformation offerings
  • Conduct discovery calls with a consultative approach to identify client needs and propose suitable solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create clear proposals including scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Maintain pipeline hygiene, including tracking, follow-ups, stage progression, and forecasting
  • Develop client relationships post-closure to drive renewals and upselling opportunities
  • Identify new market opportunities and contribute to packaging services that align with market demand

Required Skills And Experience

  • 2–7 years of sales experience, preferably in digital agency sales; candidates from software or IT services background can also be considered
  • Proven experience selling to international markets such as US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa
  • Strong closing ability with experience engaging founders, marketing leaders, and decision-makers
  • Excellent written communication skills, especially for outbound emails and proposals
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, including understanding of pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and revenue targets
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to independently plan, execute, and optimize sales efforts

Tools And Execution (Required)

Hands-on working knowledge of:

  • Prospecting tools such as Hunter.io, Snov.io, Apollo, or similar platforms
  • Email sequencing and drip campaign tools (e.g., Brevo, Apollo sequences, Snov.io)
  • AI tools for productivity and quality (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar)
  • Follow-up systems and messaging frameworks that drive responses and meetings

Preferred (Bonus)

  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Strong proposal creation and pitch presentation skills

  • Establish a structured outbound system with tested messaging and sequences
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline with consistent movemen
  • Achieve closures or demonstrate strong late-stage deal progression supported by data
  • Provide structured reporting on performance, learnings, and optimization strategies
