Business Development Manager

Whizz HR is hiring for BD Manager in Mumbai for leading advertising agency :

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, LinkedIn, email, events, and other channels.
• Research prospective clients and understand their business, marketing, and advertising requirements.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
• Schedule and conduct client meetings, presentations, and pitches.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, and pitches in collaboration with creative and strategy teams.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams to develop suitable advertising and marketing solutions.
• Negotiate commercials, contracts, and scopes of work to close deals.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and manage the sales process from lead generation to closure.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly business development and revenue targets.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging advertising opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, proposals, and conversions.

• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of advertising, branding, digital marketing, social media, and/or creative services.
• Proven ability to generate leads and close new business.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of client business needs.
• Ability to work independently as well as with creative, strategy, media, and account management teams.
• Strong follow-up and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets, LinkedIn, and presentation software.
