Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Responsibilities include preparing proposals, delivering presentations and product demonstrations, and collaborating with technical teams to scope and price solutions for web, mobile, and software development projects. The role also involves conducting market research, tracking industry trends, and maintaining an active pipeline in CRM tools. The Business Development Manager will regularly report on sales performance, forecast revenue, and contribute to strategic planning for target markets and service offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in IT services, software development, or digital solutions.
- Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management, including use of CRM and sales tools.
- Ability to understand and communicate web development, mobile app development, and offshore development service offerings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
- Solid analytical and market research abilities, including identifying target segments and evaluating competition.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (technical, design, and project management) to develop proposals and project estimates.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Prior experience working with international clients or offshore delivery models is an advantage.
- Familiarity with website design, mobile apps, and multimedia services is preferred.
