Business Development Manager / Sr. Business Development Manager – IT Services

Experience : 8+ Years

Location : WTC, Pune

Employment Type : Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

·      To work on End to End Sales life cycle.

• Identify key growth areas, emerging markets, and potential clients.

• Focus on technology, marketplace, and segment growth strategies.

Lead Generation & Client Acquisition

• Generate leads, manage the sales pipeline, and convert prospects into long-term clients.

• Engage with decision-makers across industries such as BFSI, Manufacturing, Retail, Food Processing, to pitch IT solutions and services.

• Arrange and conduct business meetings with prospective clients.

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding client requirements and

providing tailored solutions.

• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Revenue Generation

• Achieve or exceed sales targets by promoting the company's IT services, including:

o Generative AI, Agentic AI & Machine Learning

o Custom Software Development

o Website Development

o Mobile Development

o Cloud Services

o ERP/CRM Solutions

o Salesforce & SAP Services

o Bespoke Technology Solutions

o FinTech & BFSI Technology Solutions

o IT Staffing, Talent Recruitment & Team Augmentation

• Drive business growth through account mining and sales hunting strategies.

Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities.

• Adjust sales strategies based on market insights and customer feedback.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, technical, pre-sales, and post-sales teams to ensure a seamless customer

experience.

• Provide insights to internal teams based on client expectations and market demands.

Reporting & Forecasting

• Prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports for leadership review.

• Track sales metrics and optimize strategies accordingly.

Networking & Industry Participation

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.

• Engage with potential clients and partners on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of 8+ years in Business Development, Lead Generation, or IT Sales.

• Exposure to US, UK, and APAC market

• Strong experience in handling large and complex deals with long sales cycles.

• Good understanding of IT services including AI/ML, Salesforce, SAP, ERP Solutions, and custom software

development.

• Strong network and experience interacting with CEOs, CXOs, IT Heads, and key stakeholders.

• Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce and MS Office applications.

• Experience in international sales markets and self-driven lead generation.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

• B.Sc. in Computer Science / BE with MBA (Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or related

specialization).

• Minimum 60% marks in MBA from a reputed institution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in IT Solution and Services 

• Expertise in account mining and long-term client relationship management.

• Ability to build rapport quickly and close strategic business deals.
