Business Development Manager (BDM) Toyo Kombucha
Location: Kamla Nagar, Delhi
Role Overview
Toyo Kombucha is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across quick commerce, modern trade, and general trade.
The role focuses on expanding distribution, closing POs, improving availability, and building strong platform + distributor relationships to scale revenue.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quick Commerce Growth (Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket)
- Manage and grow relationships with platform category managers
- Ensure SKU onboarding, mapping, and visibility across cities
- Track and improve availability, fill rate, and ranking
- Work on ads, placements, and campaign execution
- Ensure no PO remains open beyond 23 days
2. PO & Revenue Management
- Track all incoming POs and ensure timely dispatch and closure
- Coordinate with operations for inventory allocation and fulfillment
- Identify risks (low stock, expiry, delays) and take corrective actions
- Drive monthly revenue targets and GMV growth
3. Distributor & Retail Expansion
- Appoint and manage distributors in new territories
- Drive secondary sales and ensure stock movement
- Expand presence in modern trade, HORECA, and GT outlets
- Negotiate commercial terms and finalize onboarding
4. Market Expansion & Strategy
- Identify new cities, channels, and growth opportunities
- Work on new product launches (like POP edition, family packs, etc.)
- Gather market insights and competitor analysis
- Suggest pricing, packaging, and channel strategy
5. Cross-Team Coordination
- Work with operations for dispatch, inwarding, and inventory planning
- Coordinate with marketing for campaigns and visibility
- Align with finance for invoicing and collections

- Number of new cities / accounts onboarded
- ROI on ads / campaigns

Skills Required
- Strong negotiation and relationship management
- Deep understanding of quick commerce ecosystem
- Data-driven thinking (Excel / Google Sheets / dashboards)
- Ownership mindset ability to solve problems fast
- Hustle + execution speed (this is critical)
Experience Required
- 25 years in FMCG / beverage / quick commerce / e-commerce
- Experience working with platforms like Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy is a big plus
