Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Executive with strong experience in selling SAP or ERP solutions. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, conducting in-person client meetings, and driving revenue growth. The position requires regular travel to meet customers across regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for SAP/ERP products and services.
- Generate qualified leads through cold outreach, digital channels, partner networks, and industry events.
- Conduct in-person client meetings, presentations, demos, and requirement-gathering discussions.
- Understand customer business challenges and position appropriate SAP/ERP offerings.
- Build and nurture relationships with CXOs, IT heads, business leaders, and key decision-makers.
- Manage the full business development cycleprospecting, qualification, solution positioning, proposal creation, and deal closure.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Leadership teams for solution design and pricing.
- Maintain an updated pipeline and provide accurate forecasts using CRM tools.
- Represent the organization at customer meetings, conferences, and industry forums.
- Achieve quarterly and annual business growth targets.
Required Skills & Experience
- 56 years of experience in Business Development or Sales for SAP, ERP, or enterprise software solutions.
- Strong B2B lead generation and outbound prospecting experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for in-person client interactions.
- Good understanding of SAP modules, ERP processes, or IT consulting services.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales or lead-generation targets.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel frequently for client engagements.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, IT, or related fields (MBA preferred).
