About the Role
We're looking for a driven and commercially savvy Business Development Manager to fuel our agency's growth. This role is all about spotting opportunities, winning new clients, building strong relationships, and helping position the agency as a trusted creative partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across brands, startups, and enterprises
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry events
- Own the end-to-end new business process: pitching, proposals, negotiations, and closures
- Collaborate with strategy, creative, and media teams to build winning pitch decks and solutions
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and revenue targets
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging client needs
- Represent the agency at industry events, awards, and networking forums
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 48 years of business development or sales experience in an advertising / digital / marketing agency
- Strong understanding of agency services: creative, digital, social, media, branding, content
- Proven ability to pitch, negotiate, and close deals
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset
- Comfortable working with targets and performance metrics
Preferred Skills
- Existing network of brand-side marketing contacts
- Experience working on integrated or digital-first campaigns
- CRM experience and proposal management tools
